IMPORTANT UPDATE:   At Southeast Healthcare and Fresh A.I.R. Gallery we care about the health of our patients and patrons in our health center and in our community. Based on the ongoing nature of the COVID pandemic, we have decided to postpone the in person event until next year November 2022 and change the in person event to a virtual online art auction for the Art of Recovery. It was a very tough decision but the health and safety of our patrons, our artists, and the community at large is our top priority. We look forward to your participation and support of the Art of Recovery online art auction starting on Friday, November 5 and more details to follow soon.

The Art of Recovery will be held virtually via an online auction, that will run for 1 week. Artwork can be bid online/mobile with prior registration and a credit card.

In 2020 the Art of Recovery held an online art auction over a one week period featured 60+ artists. We are excited to build upon last year’s capacity for 2021 and spread our mission even further.

In 2019, the event had more than 700 guests attend, featured over 100 pieces of original artwork from artists locally (and nationally), and included great food and beverages, a live painting demonstration, the presentation of our annual Recovery Award, and much more. Proceeds raised during the Art of Recovery help sustain the Fresh A.I.R. Gallery and SEEN Studios. 

Since opening the gallery doors in September 2004, Fresh A.I.R. Gallery has shown over 90 exhibitions, displaying the artwork of over 200 artists, and sold more than 500 pieces of artwork. Fresh A.I.R. Gallery is a non-profit art gallery that does not accept any commission for art sold through the gallery. All proceeds from sold work go directly to the artists to help them establish their careers. Many exhibits demonstrate the courage and struggles of the artists as they combat stigma and address social issues.
